President Isaac Herzog speaks with a range of world leaders who are expressing support for Israel, his office says.
According to his office, Herzog has spoken so far today with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, French President Emmanuel Macron, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President Andrjez Duda of Poland, President Fernández of Argentina, UN Secretary General Antonia Guterres, Serbian President Vučić, EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer, NATO Secretary General of Jens Stoltenberg and European Parliament President Roberta Metsola.
Blinken sends Herzog his condolences for the Israeli victims and condemns the attacks, and discusses measures to bolster Israel’s security.
