Liberman warns Israel will use massive force in future Lebanon war

Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman is warning that Israel will use great force in any future conflict with Lebanon.

“We will do everything possible to go in with the maximum force,” Liberman tells a security conference.

“If we are sitting in shelters in Tel Aviv, then they will be sitting in shelters in Beirut,” he says of the threat posed to Israel by the tens of thousands of rockets in the hands of Hezbollah.

“We cannot accept a situation like in the Second Lebanon War there were pictures of the Lebanese going to the beach while in Tel Aviv people were in bomb shelters,” he says.
