New protest art shows naked PM with noose next to groin

A day after an art student is questioned by police over an image of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu beside a noose with the word “rope” emblazoned across the bottom, a new sketch appears at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem.

The latest drawing depicts a naked Netanyahu with a noose placed across his genitals, and the words “Is it okay like this, attorney general?” scrawled across the image.

The original image was taken from a larger piece of artwork that referred to a protest against Yitzhak Rabin in the run-up to his 1995 assassination.
