Police arrest 18 ultra-Orthodox draft protesters in Bnei Brak

Police arrest 18 ultra-Orthodox demonstrators who were blocking traffic and causing disturbances in Bnei Brak to protest of the arrest of a draft-dodging yeshiva student last month.

In a statement, police say the protesters were causing disturbances and throwing water bottles at officers dispersing the illegal protest.

Traffic in and around the central city of Bnei Brak is jammed because of the protest.
