From Shaked takes credit for ‘scaling down’ recommendations bill
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleJustice Minister Ayelet Shaked says that if it were up to her, the controversial police recommendations bill would not be advancing through the Knesset to become law.
“I would not have advanced this law, but in a coalition, you have to make compromises,” Shaked says at The Marker’s economics conference at Ben Gurion University.
“After I demanded several changes, the proposal is reasonable in its current form,” she says. “I significantly scaled the bill down.”
