At least 20 Thai nationals are still being held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Thailand’s foreign ministry says, hours after the terror group freed 10 Thais and one national from the Philippines who were abducted from Israel on October 7. On that Saturday morning, thousands of terrorists massacred 1,200 people, a majority civilians, including at least 30 Thais, during a killing rampage that lasted hours.

The 10 Thais freed on Friday, including the only woman, Nathavaree Mulkan, are expected to return home to Thailand after 48 hours in hospital, the ministry says in a statement cited by Reuters.
