Virus czar said to urge against full implementation of next stage in lockdown exit plan
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleCoronavirus czar Ronni Gamzu advises ministers to not fully implement the third phase of a multistage plan for lifting the national COVID-19 lockdown, according to the Kan public broadcaster.
Speaking during a meeting of the coronavirus cabinet, Gamzu points to the R-number for transmission nearing 1, signaling the number of new cases could grow.
