Zionist Union says Netanyahu ‘lost his way’
The Zionist Union’s Knesset members are showing remarkable coordination: Many of them have changed their Facebook cover photos to the same image over the space of a few minutes.
The new image is a play on words — “Netanyahu has lost the north,” which in Hebrew also connotes losing his direction.
It’s a reference to the cabinet’s decision to reduce some tax benefits to residents of some northern towns.
Similar benefits were conferred on several settlements that hadn’t previously enjoyed them, sparking criticism from the Zionist Union and other opposition parties last week.
