When American pop star Bruno Mars makes it to Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park stage on October 4 and 7 for two sold-out shows, he’ll be welcomed by Jonathan Mergui and Agam Buhnut on the first night and Netta Barzilai and Eliad Nachum at the second show.

“I remember 13 years old little Mergui screaming all of these songs in my mom’s car haha..” wrote Mergui in his Instagram feed. “I learned to sing listening to this voice but never in my wildest dreams imagined myself 10 years later playing on the same stage in front of 60 thousand people.. (!!) You gotta be kidding me. I’m so excited and can’t waittt.”

Barzilai also expressed her enthusiasm on Instagram, “24K B!tch See you there,” with an emoji of hands making a heart.

The Grammy Award-winning Mars will make his way to Israel following an October 1 show in Tbilisi, Georgia, where his setlist included well-known hits “That’s What I Like,” “Treasure,” “Uptown Funk,” and “Just the Way You Are.”

He also played “Finesse,” “When You Wish Upon a Star,” “Versace on the Floor,” “Marry You,” “Runaway Baby,” and a total of 24 songs during the Tbilisi show.

When asked by promoters Live Nation Israel what Mars needed in his Tel Aviv hotel room, the singer didn’t have any particular requests and asked that all leftover food and beverage be given to those in need.
