A 14-year-old was stabbed in Nazareth late Wednesday night, and police suspect the assailant was an 11-year-old who had been blinded by the older boy’s laser pointer.

An initial investigation suggested the two youngsters got into a fight after the 14-year-old blinded the younger boy in the eye with a laser pointer. In response, the 11-year-old stabbed the older boy who was lightly wounded and received medical treatment.

The police said they involved the social services in the case, in light of the young age of both the attacker and the victim.
