Hezbollah claims arrests of three spies

Two suspects were reportedly senior officials in the organization

Hezbollah arrested two of its high-ranking officials and a city councilman on suspicion of spying, a Lebanese newspaper claimed.

The terror group became aware of their activities five days ago, An-Nahar said.

Earlier this month Hezbollah reportedly uncovered a spy cell in the Bourj Al-Barajne neighborhood of southern Beirut, one of whose members was reportedly tasked by a Western intelligence agency with following the activities of a Hezbollah activist who lived nearby.
