Israeli forces hit a Gazan terror cell preparing to fire anti-tank artillery across the border Thursday morning, the IDF said.

A second strike later in the morning reportedly targeted an abandoned military site in Gaza, Palestinians said

One Palestinian was killed and four were injured, one seriously.

The Israeli military confirmed a combined air and artillery attack.

The men were from Hamas’s Izz al Din al Kassam Brigades.

The military said that strike targeted militants from Gaza’s ruling Hamas group who were preparing to launch an antitank missile at Israeli soldiers patrolling the Israel-Gaza border.
