Israeli stage and TV actor Moshe Ivgy was placed under house arrest Tuesday following questioning by police over sexual harassment allegations against him.

The nine-hour interrogation was carried out at the Lod offices of the Israel Police’s “Lahav 433” unit, which specializes in high-profile cases, and follows a third sexual harassment allegation brought against the actor by a former female coworker just days ago, according to the Ynet news site.

Police first launched a probe into two previous assault claims against the 62-year-old actor in early February. A total of six women originally accused Ivgy of sexual harassment, but only two of the six were willing to take a polygraph test, the Walla news site reported.

Ivgy will remain under house arrest until Saturday.

Ivgy, who denies any wrongdoing, said in February he would withdraw from acting for the duration of the investigation.

“In light of the wave of reports rocking my life and causing my family much grief, I have decided to take a time out,” Ivgy said in a statement. “I repeat – I did not harm a single person, man or woman.”

He declined to respond to the allegations publicly, but said he “would do so fully” in the police investigation.
