Cops seize ecstacy worth NIS 2 million at airport

Officers recently seized five kilograms (11 pounds) of the drug MDMA at Ben Gurion Airport, police announced Sunday.
Acting on intelligence information, police on July 21 arrested a drug mule who was carrying the MDMA, more commonly known as ecstasy, in liquid form.
The drug, said to be worth NIS 2 million ($524,000), was concealed inside wine bottles and absorbed within the walls of a suitcase.
Two other individuals were incriminated during interrogation and were arrested. All three were brought to the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court on Sunday to be remanded.
