Abbas vows to continue terrorist stipends, even with PA’s last ‘penny’

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas vows to continue the policy of paying stipends to Palestinian prisoners including many convicted terrorists and the families of “martyrs.”

“The stipends of our prisoners, martyrs and wounded persons are a red line,” he says at a Ramallah meeting of the Palestinian Central Council, a top Palestine Liberation Organization body. “This issue for us is an holy…We must pay all of them. If we had one [penny] left, it would be for them.”
