COGAT restricts Arab Israeli entry to Gaza

The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) ups the restrictions on the entry of Arab Israeli citizens to the Gaza Strip, and from now on such individuals will not be allowed, for example, to visit their grandchildren in the Palestinian enclave in the event of a wedding or a funeral.

According to Gisha, an Israeli human rights organization, the restrictions only apply to Arab Israelis, and not to Palestinians living in the West Bank.
