Envoy in Berlin says embassy security raised, Israelis warned about Iran spies
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsrael’s Ambassador to Germany Jeremy Issacharoff says that Israelis are taking precautions amid reports of an Iranian spy ring in German that was targeting Israelis and Jewish targets.
“Embassy security has been stepped up, Israelis received warnings,” Issacharoff tells the Walls news site.
German authorities said today they are conducting searches countrywide in connection with 10 suspected Iranian spies, with one report saying that the suspects were members of an elite military force that had been watching Israeli and Jewish targets.
