Gulf official says PM won because of Iran fears
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn unnamed Gulf official tells Reuters that Netanyahu’s win is due to Israelis’ concern over the Iranian nuclear program.
“With Iran emerging again, it was highly expected that Netanyahu would win,” the unnamed official says.
“He’s a man who believes strongly in protecting his people, and this is what Israel wants now.”
