Hamas calls Abbas speech ‘submissive,’ calls for end of Oslo Accords

Hamas lashes out at PA President Mahmoud Abbas a day after he delivered a speech at the United Nations threatening to dismantle the Oslo Accords, calling the address “emotional and submissive” and saying it “did not rely on our people’s strong cards, and consequently the results will not differ from those of previous speeches.”

“The credibility of this announcement remains subject to its implementation on the ground,” the Islamist terror group says. It calls upon the president to announce the end of the Oslo Accord and rescind recognition of Israel, end security cooperation and “unleash resistance” in the West Bank, halt arrests of Hamas fighters, reconcile with Hamas, and pursue prosecution of “Israeli war criminals” at the ICC.
