Hamas claims responsibility for Jerusalem shooting attack

The Hamas terror group has taken responsibility for this morning’s shooting attack in Jerusalem that killed two Israelis and injured five, according to Palestinian media reports.

The Gaza-based terror group reportedly said the gunman was a member of the organization, calling him the “Lion of Jerusalem.”

In a separate statement, Hamas spokesperson Fawzi Barhoum called it “a natural reaction to the crimes and violations of the occupation against our people.”
