IDF confirms that stabbing victim is Israeli soldier
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn IDF spokeswoman confirms that the 19-year-old man wounded in today’s stabbing attack in the West Bank is a soldier.
She says that a group of soldiers approached two suspicious-looking Arab men at a bus stop in the Etzion Bloc. As they got closer, the two Palestinian men attacked one of the soldiers, stabbing the 19-year-old soldier in the head and moderately wounding him.
Forces on the scene responded to the attack, firing at the two assailants, the spokeswoman says.
Although the IDF would not confirm the deaths of the two attackers, reports from the scene indicated that the men did indeed die from the gunshot wounds they sustained.
