IDF says sirens in north caused by Iron Dome launch; unclear if rockets were fired at Israel

The Israel Defense Forces says the incoming rocket siren that sounded in several towns in northern Israel was due to an Iron Dome launch at an “identification in Israel’s skies.”

The IDF says it is still investigating if any projectiles were actually launched at Israel.

There have been several false alarms in northern Israel in recent days due to mistaken identifications.
