Opposition whip rejects offsetting vote on Shabbat bill for bereaved MK
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleOpposition whip Yoel Hasson, in response to Netanyahu’s comments, says the opposition will not offset the absence of Jewish Home MK Moti Yogev for the Shabbat votes.
Yogev was attending the funeral of his mother, who died earlier on Monday.
The prime minister said in the Likud faction meeting the coalition whip was waiting on an answer from the opposition. If the opposition declines, the final votes on the proposal would be delayed, Netanyahu said.
