Police believe Nazareth hit-and-run was deliberate
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePolice believe a hit-and-run on Sunday in Nazareth that left a cop in serious condition was a deliberate attack and the state is planning to indict the 19-year-old driver.
The security forces initially surmised that the incident was an accident, but a police source connected to the investigation tells Channel 2 television that the teenager, Nazareth resident George Graib, will be charged with assault with intent to injure. If he is convicted, Graib could face up to 20 years in jail.
The policeman hurt in the attack, Natan Yossipov, is still hospitalized and suffering from serious injuries.
