Remand of senior PFLP member extended

The remand of a senior member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine is extended until November 11, the Walla news site reports.

Khalida Jarrar, a former PFLP lawmaker in the Palestinian Authority parliament, was arrested last week at her home in the West Bank city of Ramallah.

She has previously served time in Israeli prison after being convicted of incitement to violence and “promoting terror activities,” charges she denied. In February was released from Israeli custody after being held in administrative detention since July 2017.

The PFLP, one of several parties in the Palestinian Liberation Organization, is considered a terror group by Israel, the Untied States and the European Union.
