Renewed fighting reported in Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleFighting resumes in the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain el-Hilweh in Lebanon, as a ceasefire between warring factions reached Sunday night falls apart.
A bomb went off in the camp this morning, and gunfire has been heard, according to the Lebanese Naharnet news outlet. At least one person is reported wounded.
Two people have been killed and several wounded in heavy fighting in the camp near Sidon over the last several days, as Palestinian groups and the Lebanese army clash with Islamist groups.
