Romania, Spain join European nations assisting Israel in fire crisis

Romania’s foreign minister has informed Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar that Romania will send two aircraft tomorrow — a firefighting plane and another for logistical support — to combat the fires in Israel, announces Sa’ar’s office.

Spain also updated Sa’ar that it will join the aid effort, and additional countries have expressed “willingness to assist,” including France, Ukraine and Ecuador, a statement from Sa’ar’s office says, adding that other nations have offered to send helicopters in support.
