Shin Bet appoints new deputy head to replace Alsheich
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Shin Bet security service announces the appointment of a new deputy director for the agency, replacing outgoing No. 2 Roni Alsheich who was okayed in a cabinet vote today as Israel’s next police commissioner.
The new deputy director, identified only as “N.” in keeping with Shin Bet policy, served previously as the agency’s deputy director from 2011 to 2014.
