Stabbing on Tel Aviv–Jerusalem highway in West Bank
A 26-year-old Israeli man was stabbed by a group of Palestinian assailants at a gas station on Route 443, a major Tel Aviv–Jerusalem highway that partially passes through the West Bank, Ynet reports.
One of the attackers was shot by the Israel Defense Forces at the scene and died shortly thereafter, according to a tweet by the Israeli rescue service Hatzolah.
The IDF, however, claimed that the suspect was wounded and is still alive.
The victim was lightly injured in the attack and was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for treatment.
