TASE looking up after China lowers interest rate
China’s central bank lowered the interest rate by 0.25 percent, stimulating world markets to rebound from a nightmarish trading day yesterday.
Indices at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange are looking up, with the Tel Aviv 25 index rising by 2.9% and the Tel Aviv 100 index rising by 3.2%.
Tel Aviv 75 rises by 4.4%. Trading shortly after noon stands at NIS 1.3 billion, with two more hours of trading left. Trading around the globe on Sunday ended with sharp drops, as the slowdown of the Chinese economy rippled across world stock exchanges.
