The father of one of 10 students killed by flash floods during a hike near the Dead Sea yesterday eulogizes his daughter as she is buried in Jerusalem.

“Every morning I would say part of a prayer that I would always dedicate a line [from] to all the family members. I bless every morning and pray that [God] will protect my family. But apparently the holy one, blessed is he, has other plans,” Hadashot TV news reports Yael Sadan as saying.

“What kind of life is this that it is cut off at its bud? Just like that? For no reason? Will I not see my child again, my beloved daughter? I love you, my girl.”
