Yachimovich to Abu Khdeir family: I feel ashamed
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleFormer Labor head Shelly Yachimovich visits the mourning tent of the Abu Khdeir family in East Jerusalem, along with Labor MK Miki Rosenthal.
“I told the family that this is a sadistic and cruel murder that the Israeli public condemns and decries,” Yachimovich says on Facebook,” and that I feel ashamed that such despicable murderers committed the murder supposedly in the name of collective vengeance.
“The pain of a parent for the cruel murder of his child is the same pain on both sides,” she says. “We share in their heavy grief and feel their pain.”
