Iran: US and Arab states arming Syrian opposition
Tehran says it has evidence that US and Arab allies are smuggling weapons to anti-regime forces

The Iranian deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs said Wednesday that the US and some Arab states have smuggled illegal arms and ammunition to Syrian rebel fighters.
Speaking in Moscow after regularly scheduled meetings with Russian officials regarding regional issues, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said Tehran had evidence that Washington and its Arab allies was arming opposition fighters, according to Iran’s state-run Press TV.
He stressed Iran’s opposition to any international intervention in Syria.
The Iranian deputy foreign minister said that national dialogue was the only way to settle the Syrian unrest.
