Kimye headed to the Holy Land
Kim Kardashian and hubby Kanye West reportedly planning Israel trip for mid-April

It appears the Holy Land will soon be blessed with a first-time visit from newly platinum-blond reality TV star Kim Kardashian and her husband singer Kanye West — collectively known as Kimye.
We’re going to guess that their one-year-old daughter North West is going to make the trip, as well. A toddler who gets spa baths is surely entitled to a dip in the Dead Sea.
No sooner will Passover vacation be over than Israeli Kimye fans will get to work staking out the celebrity couple in attempts of getting a glimpse of their Hollywood aura. However, based on reports in the Hebrew media that Kardashian, 34, and West, 37, have hired an Israeli security firm to protect them and keep their whereabouts under wraps, it may prove difficult to snap that Instagram-worthy celebrity sighting photo.
The couple will apparently be staying at the posh Waldorf Astoria hotel in Jerusalem April 12-13 before heading off to neighboring Jordan. The sumptuous accommodations will set the pair back $600-$700 a night (not including the extra amenities they may require), but we’re quite sure this won’t stress their travel budget.
So, we’ve established (by celebrity gossip standards) that Kardashian and West will visit Israel’s capital. But the question remains as to whether they will also be stopping off in Tel Aviv to seal the deal on the high-priced apartment Kardashian and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe reportedly had their eyes on back in January.
At the time, Oved Zangi, sales manager for 96 Hayarkon, one of the most exclusive addresses in Israel, confirmed for The Times of Israel that the Kardashians, represented by the broker Tomer Fridman of Sotheby’s International Realty, were scheduled to arrive in Israel in about a month’s time to sign off on the deal. We all know that things don’t always happen promptly in the Middle East, so perhaps this mid-April trip will provide Kardashian the opportunity to finally close on the property just steps from the beach.
Times are complicated what with the recent elections, worry about the Iranian nuclear program, and a deterioration of relations with the US Administration — not to mention all that Passover cleaning.
So wouldn’t you agree it’s nice to have something like the Kimye visit to look forward to? If there’s one thing worth doing in these trying times, it’s keeping up with the Kardashians.
