Attorney says Abu Khdeir murder suspect ‘not responsible for his actions’

The attorney for Yosef Haim Ben-David, 31, who is said to have led the attack on Palestinian teenager Mohammed Abu Khdeir, says his client suffers from a mental illness and was not responsible for his actions at the time.

The attorney’s comments come before a hearing in which Ben-David’s psychiatric state is set to be evaluated.
