Gabbay attacks coalition over ‘anti-nationalist’ bills
Zionist Union chair Avi Gabbay slams the governing coalition for what he describes as a series of “anti-nationalist” bills.
Speaking at the faction meeting at the Knesset, Gabbay mocks the government for calling itself the “nationalist camp,” asking rhetorically how the mini-markets bill or the police recommendations bill serve the nation “and not just your own political survival.”
Gabbay says that the mini-markets bill will “allow big corporations to keep their stores open and the small businesses will close.”
“How is that nationalist?” he asks.
“No,” he adds, “you are the anti-nationalist camp and nothing else.”
