Netanyahu: If Pfizer provides other countries with vaccine, ‘it will supply exactly the same thing to us’

Prime Minister Netanyahu joins Health Minister Yuli Edelstein in condemning the leaking of details on the coronavirus vaccine deal that Israel signed with Pfizer.

“We are bound by confidential agreements and there are articles that cannot be published because this is the arrangement with them. We do not want to risk the supply of vaccines by opening these agreements,” the premier says during the cabinet meeting.

Netanyahu also appears to reference reports that Pfizer isn’t bound under the agreement to supply Israel with the vaccine.

“To the extent that Pfizer supplies vaccines to the leading countries of the world, it will supply exactly the same thing to us,” he says.
