After flip-flop, ministers OK lifting 500 meter limit after Independence Day
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleCabinet Secretary Avishai Braverman says that ministers have now voted to cancel the emergency order limiting Israelis to 500 meters from their houses for walks or runs, to come into effect on Thursday, after Independence Day.
Earlier, a ministerial decision on the immediate lifting of the restriction was revised in a U-turn from the cabinet, following an apparent embarrassing miscommunication from the Health Ministry.
