Danon calls for UN chief to condemn Ecuadoran ambassador
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsrael’s ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, wrote a letter to Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon calling on him to condemn Ecuadorean Ambassador Horacio Sevilla Borja’s statement equating Zionism with Nazism and demand he apologize, the mission says.
“The UN cannot treat such despicable words of hate and pure anti-Semitism as business as usual,” Danon wrote. “It should be made crystal clear to all member-states that such antisemitic behavior will not be tolerated at the UN”
