Rihanna, Drake said to be dating again

The Caribbean pop star and the Jewish-Canadian rapper appear to be back together after a two-year hiatus

It appears that love is in the air in the hip-hop and R&B world as multi-platinum selling artists Drake and Rihanna have once again been spotted back together.

This isn’t their first shot at love as Drake, 27, born Aubrey Graham to a Jewish-Canadian mother and an African-American father, and the Barbados-born Rihanna had been in a two-plus year relationship starting in 2009.

They had remained good friends after they parted ways, even collaborating together on a host of chart topping songs and remixes.

In recent weeks, however, various tabloids have been abuzz with rumors reporting that the two are dating again. Drake, who has hardly shied away from rapping about his romances, appeared to reference the reports in a leaked one-minute clip of the song “Views from the 6,” the title track of his upcoming album.

The profanity-laden clip spoke at length of rekindling a relationship with an unnamed former love and included a brief soundbite of Rihanna speaking.

The Barbadian beauty, who performed in Israel for the first time last October, posted “#FreePalestine” on her Twitter account last month, later replacing it with a more conciliatory message that called for a swift end to the conflict.

Drake, who has not publicly commented on the matter, may reconsider sharing his presents with the pop princess following his well-publicized 2012 “re-Bar Mitzvah,” documented in the popular yarmulke- and Manischewitz-laced music video “HYFR.”
