Amr Moussa, the former secretary-general of the Arab League and unsuccessful Egypt’s presidential candidate, visited the Palestinian Authority territories for the first time on Sunday.
While in Ramallah, Moussa paid tribute to Yasser Arafat; he was later scheduled to attend an economic conference in Nablus.
In 2010 Moussa became the first prominent Arab official to visit Gaza after Hamas took power in 2007.
