Bennett to UK Jews: ‘Come home’ to Israel
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn Israeli minister urges British Jews to “come home” to Israel amid the fallout from the anti-Semitism allegations swirling over the opposition Labour Party.
In a Facebook post, Naftali Bennett refers to posters declaring that “Israel is a racist endeavor,” which were slapped up around London early today to protest Labour’s adoption of an anti-Semisism definition under which that statement runs afoul.
“Dear British Jews, the writing is on the wall… No, literally, it’s all over your walls,” writes Bennett, who heads the national-religious Jewish Home party.
“Come home. You have a home and it’s waiting for you!”
Israel will always stand for the right of all Jews to live where they choose in safety and freedom. But we are waiting…
