Government orders end of medical visits for Hamas members, their relatives
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe government will no longer allow members of Hamas or their relatives to enter Israel for medical treatment, the state tells the High Court of Justice in response to a petition.
The petition was filed by the family of the late IDF soldier Hadar Goldin, who was killed in the 2014 Gaza war and whose body is being held by Hamas.
The state also says the National Security Council found that despite the cabinet previously adopting such a policy, it has yet to be implemented.
