Shas unsure who will head religious affairs ministry
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAccording to a report by the Kikar HaShabat website, Shas has not yet appointed a religious affairs minister, after MK Yitzhak Cohen says he would prefer to work in the Finance Ministry.
The report indicates that Shas chairman Aryeh Deri will bring in a candidate from outside the party to head the office.
The religious affairs portfolio was the subject of dispute between Shas, which ultimately received it, and the Jewish Home party.
