Teachers threaten strike ahead of new school year
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Teacher’s Union are threatening to strike ahead of the new school year.
The union today declares a national labor dispute, saying that promised reforms have not been implemented.
“Not only is there a violation of the agreed reform, but harm to the conditions of the teachers and the students,” it says.
A labor dispute is a precursor to declaring a strike. The new school year starts in the beginning of September.
