Egypt PM says country ‘in midst of real war’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleEgyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab says in the weekly government meeting in Cairo: “We are in the midst of a real war,” according to Ynet.
Mahlab speaks after a massive terror attack in the northwestern Sinai and the assassination of the Egyptian attorney general earlier this week.
Mahlab says he will hand to President Abdel-Fatah el-Sissi several bills that will facilitate the Egyptian government’s war against terror.
Eypt has a presidential system of government; the leader of the executive branch is the president, Sissi.
