Judge said under investigation by police, social services
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePolice and social services are conducting a joint investigation into a senior judicial official, Haaretz reports. The paper does not go into further details of the subject of the investigation, but Ynet identifies the official as a judge.
Haaretz says the investigation began at the start of January, at around the time when the unnamed official was due to begin his sabbatical leave.
The investigation is being conducted on the police side by the fraud squad, Haaretz says, and the findings are being transferred for examination by Attonrey General Avihai Mandelblit.
