Israel’s nature and wildlife are also falling victim to rockets and incendiary devices fired at the country from Gaza Strip as the war enters its tenth day.

It is too early for the Israel Nature and Parks Authority and environmental organizations to fully assess the damage, but unknown numbers of creatures that are unable to move fast enough have been killed as fires have broken out in agricultural areas, it said.

Multiple fires have broken out in large parts of the Be’eri nature reserve close to the Gaza border, with large numbers of animals injured or killed, as well as at the Shikma Stream, also in southern Israel’s Negev.

INPA rangers have documented some of nature’s fatalities.

Palestinian terror groups have fired thousands of rockets at Israel since last Monday, killing 12 people in Israel and injuring hundreds.
