Trump suggests Clinton ‘copying’ him, is trolled

GOP nominee says Democratic rival holding press conferences with a plane behind her, just like he does

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump suggested on Tuesday that his Democratic rival was “copying” him by holding press conferences with planes visible in the background, like he often does.

“Do people notice Hillary is copying my airplane rallies – she puts the plane behind her like I have been doing from the beginning,” Trump tweeted Tuesday, garnering over 24,000 likes and 7,400 retweets.

The billionaire real estate mogul set off a Twitter storm, with most users mocking him for the remark and informing him, with photo or video evidence, that he is not the first presidential runner to do so.

“Look, Mitt Romney traveled through time and copied your idea. That weasel!” quipped one user attaching a photo of the 2012 Republican nominee with his family holding a press conference with a plane bearing the “Believe in America” tagline in the background.

“McCain did it too!! SUE THEM BOTH IMMEDIATELY!!!” wrote the same person later in the thread.

One user mocked Trump’s childishness for the tweet, explaining that his “three year old is also concerned about ‘copying,’ If someone is copying you, that means they want to play.”

Another tweeted: “She also wears pants … like you. Coincidence?”
