130 schools, kindergartens are closed due to COVID-19 infections — ministry
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Education Ministry says 130 schools and kindergartens have been closed in the past 10 days, since a wave of COVID-19 infections began, centered in education institutions.
The figure is higher than yesterday by 24.
Additionally, 17,605 students and staff members are in quarantine, 1,282 more than yesterday.
So far, 352 students and staff members nationwide have diagnosed with the virus in the current wave, including 22 over the past 24 hours.
